Business Translation Services: How long does translation take?

About Total Language SolutionsHow long will my translation take?

There are two stages for a full translation:

(1) Initial translation:

a professional translator can complete a quality translation between 1,500 and 2,000 words per day.

Then…..

(2) Full checking and proofreading:

a professional linguist can complete between 2,500 to 5,000 words per day.

Note: this is important to ensure the accuracy of the translation as well as checking typing and formatting accuracy.

Need it faster?

Teams of translators working in parallel can be used on larger projects (50 thousand words or more)
Do stage only one: can be used for general reference and internal use. Stage 2 can follow if required.

Allow additional time for:

  • Preparation of files for translation
  • Formatting of files
  • Typesetting (if applicable).
