Business Translation Services: What will it cost?

This depends on four main factors:

(1) The language you want the material to be translated into?

This initial translation stage is priced in units of 1,000 words: our translation tariff is very competitive and starts at £85 per thousand (and part thereof) for the main European languages; a bit more of the rest of Europe and a bit more for languages with special fonts like Chinese or Japanese.

(2) How many stages of the process?

Some clients are happy with the initial translation service as that gives them a good general understanding and can be valuable for internal use.

Most clients expect the initial translation to be subject to a full edit and proof read by a second independent professional linguist to ensure best quality and presentation for purpose.

(3) What software is involved?

Some software takes longer to work in than others: if your material arrives in Word and we return it in Word, then that is a simple process. If other software is involved then lets have a quick chat on the phone.

(4) DTP; art work etc

We have a complete in-house team of specialists who work in a wide range of software platforms; we can help you there by managing the DTP elements as a “one stop shop.”
