What is apostilled translation?
We undertake many certified translations for clients: the translation is certified as a true, accurate, complete and reliable translation of the original.
Sometimes the signature of a director of this company will be acceptable in law; on other occasions, an Affidavit has to be signed by a director before a qualified legal officer, sometimes the document has to be apostilled in front of a notary. In each case, in addition to the translation fee, there is a fee for managing the certification or apostilling process (about £25 per document) and the fees of the lawyers have to be paid. These are low for Affidavits, and rarely in excess of £20 for notarisation.
If apostilled, the document has to be sent to the Foreign Office to be, apostilled and which costs about £20 per document.
