How much do you charge for your translation services?

We charge our translation services per thousand words for:

the full translation, editing and proofreading: (to meet the UK translation standard) The total fee for the full service is priced per thousand words and varies from West European at around £120 upwards to more complex and obscure languages.
the basic one-stage translation service: as a broad indicator, the basic translation fee is 80% of the full proper approved EU/UK approved two-staged process and the rate is a little higher pro rata to cover the additional administration costs.
the check/proofreading only service: if we only undertake the checking and proofreading element only, then we are obliged to charge a slightly higher pro rata rate at 40%, to cover the additional administration costs.
