Total Language Solutions' translation process is both cost-effective and designed using modern quality control principles to exclude opportunities of errors occurring.

We were able to convert the original html file with Java Applets to a Word document, and to identify the text for translation, and to preserve unchanged text that formed part of the software operating in the background. We captured all the text for translation, including hover pop-ups, error messages, drop-down menus, click-button text etc.

Total Language Solutions selected the best available translators solely on the basis of their specialist subject knowledge and translation skills. Translators needed only to work in Word, using the 'live' questionnaire as a context reference; our choice of translators was not restricted to linguists with software skills.

The translated Word document was then automatically converted to the original html format by our software, and formatting of the translated files was checked against the English original.

Linguists then checked the translated questionnaire 'live' on-line, with the option of making changes and comments in a Word document.

The client decided to undertake a comprehensive evaluation of its UK-based management teams. To this end, they commissioned an externally sourced SWOT review of the key team members. In respect of each person being assessed, those with management links to that person wrote reports and completed questionnaires. These results were evaluated and summarised off-site by an independent mediator who summarised the findings as the basis for a one-to-one evaluation and report back to the person assessed.
